I've stuffed up already!!! I don't like destroying books or magazines so I scanned the stitchery patterns and printed them out so I could pop them onto my light box and see through properly. I thought they looked a little small and I even checked out the blog to see what everyone elses looked like and, still, I persevered. I just figured I would adlib some flowers and be clueless as to why mine was different! I even remeasured and rechecked my cutting. This morning it hit me that I had printed it a different size so I checked... sure enough it had printed at 93%! I'm such a nit wit! I have dithered about with whether or not to unpick it or not and have decided that I have to. So much work down the drain! So here is my progress so far...
... to only get rid of it!
If anyone was worried that this quilt wasn't for them because of the bright colours, don't be! It is looking delicious in darker traditional/ country colours!!! I'm working on the shoo-fly block and should have an update on them soon!

Hi Sasha, I just popped over from the Vignette blog, the colours you have chosen are going to be beautiful! Your blog is lovely and you have done lots of amazing work!!
Hi Sasha - I popped over from the SKofW SAL blog and I saw your post about scanning and things coming out smaller - and maybe you were just copying - but I too tried scanning the images from the SKoW book so I could easily reverse the patterns since I am not doing needle turn - and had the same problem - but I only discovered it after I had traced most of the blocks onto the vlsieofix - so dont feel too bad - we all make mistakes. - love your patty/cup cakes. I thibk your Vignette quilt will be gorgeous in thoise daker colours - I was so tempted to start the one - but thought I might get bored stitching the same pattern over and over.
How come you dont post to the SAL?? - we would all love to see your work - the more variety the beter.
